I put images here that for one reason or another don't survive on Caedes.net (Caedes is a site where I submit my best images for use as desktop wallpaper) but were still well received. For the most part though, my very best stuff is housed on Caedes. To see those images, simply visit my Caedes gallery.
Any time you see a scrolling filmstrip on my site you can refresh the images if you get bored of them by using the 'Utilities' pulldown menu. If you see an image in the filmstrip you want to take a closer look at, click on it and you will be taken to either the image's page on Caedes.net (where you can read about it and view it full-screen by clicking on its larger thumbnail) or directly to a large view of the image (if it is an image that is not on Caedes.net).
I have also added Hurricane Wilma Photos if you're interested to see some of the aftermath from the storm.
If you find an image you want for desktop wallpaper while browsing my site but you need it in a larger size just send an email to "josh at jtitcomb dot com" and I might be able to provide a larger version for you.

Some of the images in this section may also be on Caedes.net but are still included here for the purpose of side-by-side comparison. From time to time I'll upload images here that I don't want to upload to my Caedes gallery (i.e. several versions of the same picture) to get people's input. Others are included just to give them permanent homes after they've had a go on Caedes.

Here is the original photo of Friderik's Tower ©Blaz (Taken by a fellow photographer and Caedes member). You can compare it with my Escher-tribute edit of the photo, Infinite Stairway, to see the changes I made to it. The latter link is to the image in my Caedes gallery. To enlarge it to full-screen just click on the medium-sized preview of it on Caedes.
Free the Horses is my rework of Darryl's image, Roam Free ©mayne. The purpose of my rework was to digitally remove the fence from the photo. I still prefer the original version with the fence but it was a great project. I also made an animation showing an artificial transition from the image with the fence to my version without it.
I connected the dots on this photo of the Big Dipper using Paint Shop Pro. It lost a bit of its crisp quality in the resizing and compression but I still like it.
I blacked out the background on this photo of my grandmother's grand piano. I call it In the White Room, a title I borrowed from some Eric Clapton (Cream) lyrics.
